I play purely for the single player campaign, since I am not a fan of multiplayer I bought and played the EA Origin version of this game. I bought and played the EA Origin version of this game. If you need a break from the arcade style of recent first-person shooters, then go out and get yourself a copy of Medal of Honor (2010) for a more realistic take on gaming. Overall, this is a successful solid reboot of the series. Voice acting is spot on, and music delivers a punch. Graphics and visuals can go from dull and average to absolutely stunning and attractive, depending on the mission. There are a few maps out right now, but more will be out soon.

The MP runs of an exp-based system where earning points awards you with new upgrades to your weapon such as sights and barrels and types of ammunition. You'll be dead soon and will hate the game for it. You can't just run in and start shooting everything like in CoD. In this MP, you actually require a bit of skill to do well. The game delivers its best in its multiplayer.
MEDAL OF HONOR 2010 FULL
You'll go from stealthy sniping missions, to full out warfare and cave raids. You are a Tier 1 Operator, a unique brand of soldiers who are sent into the most intense action. You are in the War in Afghanistan, fighting the Taliban forces in actual operations that took place in 2001-2005. The SP is action-packed but short, with only 5 hrs of gameplay. This game is about realism, not arcade shooting. The SP is action-packed but short, with only 5 hrs of Not a CoD beater but definitely close.

If i have not then i am sorry and would gladly be pointed in the right direction. Not a CoD beater but definitely close. Pretty sure MOH doesn’t have this.Īny feedback is much appreciated and i hope i have come to the right place. I read somewhere that some games create a log file where you can collect correct values. Other than that i am quite happy with what i have achieved without much knowledge of UE3/Frostbite. The shadows are still not quite right when you get up close. The settings above have made it so the shadows don’t pop in so badly, seems like i almost hit a sweet spot, and there is not much of a noticeable draw line while moving. My hope is that someone comes along here and can enlighten me to an extent and perhaps give me a good idea to make the game look better for the sake of modding purposes. I thought i would ask and see if some guru knows a good balance, or can explain some more without pointing me to the unreal engine manual.

This game is keeping me interested and i feel i am gaining some slight knowledge. I choose this game because i am a fan of unreal engine. I am not sure what the propper name for this effect would be? Leaving all the above settings to default and only raising this hugely increases shadow quality, the drawback is there is a horrible rendering draw line that is created at around 30-40meters. Running in lower 1024x768 screen res would hide this unwanted effect.ĬSMSizeScale=2.500000 (Default 1.000000) Rising this causes performance drop which i would expect. Thinking because the game came out in 2010, its designed to be played in 4:3 ratio. A rendering type draw line is created whit camera movement in the peripheral vision. Rising this causes some shadows in peripheral vision to not appear properly. MaxShadowResolution=1024 - Changing the resolution seems to do nothing much Inside the engine.ini file i have found these settings and trying to find a balance that works well. I was wondering if anyone could help me with a couple of things.īy default the game has very poorly done shadows, they fade in and pop up very noticeable. I have been playing around with the game MOH2010, Frostbite 1 engine.
